Our Olivia had been saving her Christmas and birthday gift money for a long while, in the hopes of buying herself a camera. She didn't want any of the ones we had around the house--that would not do! She comparison-shopped and found the best price, and this whole long Spring Break "staycation" she's been snapping like mad.
Thus, I give you life in the 'hood through the eyes of one very sweet eleven year old...
(Did you notice? We like macro...She gets it from me, perhaps!)
I love seeing the world through her eyes, and to see her taking delight in the beauty of every day--what more could I ask for? That's what makes a sweet life, no? And she gets it, she so totally gets it.
Bless her sweet little heart.

you should feature her regularly on Sweet Sweet Life--she is A-MAZING. OUr boy just got his first camera from his grandparent's--last week, in fact. And has been snapping away like crazy too...I need to go through his camera and see what he has come up with...aslo, what is macro? Is this a photo effect? Sorry I am so clueless about these things...

Hello, Holly, dear! thanks for your kind words...
"Macro" is just super-close up--it's a special setting on the camera so that it doesn't get blurry. That's all. But we do like a close-up!
