Hello, all. It's lovely to see you here!
You may, or may not (you'd be forgiven, I promise) have noticed that blogging has been light in these parts lately. There are a few reasons for that. The main one is, though, that I'm unsure where to go from here, blog-wise.
I certainly recognize it's not an earth-shattering question, and I feel pretty silly even writing about it. My blog is, however, super-important to me, not only because it's incredibly fun to do, but also because of the connections I've made through it, and also, hopefully, the inspiration I may have been able to pass on from time to time.
But, it needs a few changes, and perhaps a new direction or two. While I can honestly say that I have loved every single post I have done--every home, each artist, each handmade wonder has truly inspired me--I don't want to just do the same thing, over and over. That's not fun for me, and certainly not interesting for you, or anyone else who might stop by and say hello, right?
So, I'm doing lots of thinking (I do love a good ponder, you know...). The possibility certainly exists that I've reached the end of this blogging road, but I'm more inclined to think that there's just a new twist or two ahead. My life has changed dramatically, in almost every way, since I started this blog just a bit over a year ago. I've changed tremendously, I think, and I want to incorporate those changes in some way, without making it a blog about me. I never wanted that, at all. I wanted it to be a blog about us, our lives, and how to love them, in good times and bad: lessons learned, blessings appreciated, gratitude and love. Life, in a nutshell.
I'll be back soon. While I'm gone, know that you all have made my life sweeter, for real, each and every day. Thanks for that, and thanks for reading.
Cheers!
xoxox.
P.S. I'll still be tumbling, so please be sure to check there, if you're looking for sweet finds from around the web...I love sharing the projects and artists and homes I find, so do take a peek from time to time!
You have got to be kiddinG!!!!I just found you and you have been the only sunshine in my gray winter days for at least two months now!
I understand...take a little breather and then get back here with your awesomely beautiful photos of the houses. I find you blog uplifting. We all need something we can count on.

Like the kid in "Christmas Story" shouted as all the kids walked away from him while his tongue was stuck to the frozen flag pole "don't go! come back! come back!" :)
I really hope you come back, really LOVE your blog and look at it daily. Take your time and know that many of us will be here happily waiting if you decide to keep going. I do hope you do! You are so fun!:)

Take the time you need, post what you want to post (when you want to post it). I read your blog for your voice and unique perspective, not for links to other websites (though I always enjoy reading about your finds).

Oh Amy. I don;t know what to say--I am so, so sad at the prospect of losing the joy this blog brings me...but also, appreciate and understand your need to explore something new and put this blog down for awhile...you have so many wonderful qualities, I hope you will find a way to continue to share them with the rest of the blogging world...because I will miss you, sweet, sweet friend.

I hope you come back...I look forward to your posts everyday. They fill my world with inspiration and bursts of color that has been such a blessing during these past dreary, grey Canadian months.
