Look what I found in the trash!:
It was right next to the dumpster at the doctor's office! It's missing half an arm and one knee-cap, sadly, but I don't care a whit. We're all works-in-progress, as far as I can tell...And you know what's the cutest thing about it?
It had a little band-aid with hearts on it's head! I'm not kidding!
So, I cleaned him off...
...and wired his left leg back on with a pipe-cleaner...
...and now he makes sure that Olivia is "on-task." (She's not, apparently, but it's only his first day on the job.) And when we study anatomy, we're all set!
Sofia is handling all of this very, very well. I'm proud of her.
Oh, joys of other people's cast-offs, will you never cease?! I think not.
Cheers, sweet friends...
xoxox.

How lovely that the dear little thing has a new home! We have a skeleton friend too (well actually he is more of a family member now)- Ian. He has a very nice sense of humour and is fun to have around. Such is his good nature that he lets me dress him up often and doesn't mind at all if I stagger into him, toppling him over in the middle of the night.

A lucky find indeed!! We are works in progress aren't we, you are so right.
I hope nobody throws me in the bin when I am missing a couple of pieces, hmm, but that would have already happened.
