I love Richard Scarry even more now than I did as a child, and I'm okay with that!  This book is worth every penny, for bright, cheery pics and super-cute (but not too cute) and quick little gems of stories...

That is the best Christmas book ever--non-religious, non-consumerist. I cry when the puppy finds a home and when the kids get the elephant a wife.
