Banana bread (with chocolate chips!) is baking, and the decorations are coming out, little by little. Pumpkins were purchased today, and apples will be picked tomorrow in the mountains...I love fall.
Credit goes to my mom, for realizing that our candy jars needed poison labels. You can't put a price on that kind of help...:o)
Cheers!

I too love the platter with the apples! You should make them and sell them on etsy...I could be your first customer. :-)

Ok, I second the qeustion above - where did you get that black platter with the script that the apples are sitting in. Ans second nosy question: the clock (numbers) above the fireplace? Did you make that? I love that.

Hi, all! OK, here's the scoop! The platter is from artist Jan Dutcher, I bought it at a gallery here in Southern California...I love it, and if I could print as well as she does, I might try my own! I do know that it is a platter from Ikea, and she just painted it with acrylic paints...
The clock is from Pottery Barn Kids, but it would be very easy to make on your own--just wooden (or any kind, really) numbers and a set of clock hands. The hands are completely independant of the numbers...And the numbers are just velcro-ed on the wall!...
Also, the poison labels are just printed out from the internet somewhere, and double-stick-taped on the jars...I didn't want them to be permanent...
And, yes!!! Jonathan Strange and Mr Norell is an awesome book--one of my (and my husbands!) favorites of all time...
Hope that helps! Thanks so much for stopping by, you all! :o)
