A set of 8 washable crayon rings from super-cool designer Timothy Liles, and they really are wonderful! But how could he possibly think they are worth $50? I'm gonna figure out how to make my own.

Alicia, that's what I was thinking, and I even have the perfect ring to make a mold from, but I just don't know how to make a mold, so I'm going to do some research...I would imagine that polymer clay is not rugged enough, but crayons melt at a very low heat, so it wouldn't take anything too industrial, right? I'll let you know...! :o)

I'm sure I've seen these in one of those educational-type toy shops for not $50- I'll keep an eye out for you! You're right though, can't be that hard to DIY.
