We all drove up to visit my Grandfather and his sweet, lovely wife yesterday. They live in Orange County, California, and it was such a beautiful day. I took some pictures of their house, because it is a place I always love to be.
They have traveled, enjoyed music and art and beloved friendships, and their home is a reflection of those loves, and those people they love so very dearly.
I could stay forever!

That's what I want my home to look like someday. The picture of the dining room cabinet is especially lovely. I love my grandparents house too. After the chaos that is my home, I love the peace and calm of a home that is lived in by tidy, somewhat more civilized folk with great taste. (I have four delightfully busy children!)
