Being something of a coffee drinker (after Sofie was born, I was up to six cups a day), I am always on the lookout for a good mug. The mug I choose for my morning coffee often sets the tone for the whole day, I think...I still use the mug that Jared gave me for our first Christmas together almost twenty years ago, yet I'm always happy to add a new one to the mix. There's only two criteria: it has to have a good vibe (no pessimistic or sarcastic messages), and it has to feel good in my hand.
Thus, it delighted me no end to find these wonderful hand-cast mugs from McCheek's Mayhem :
I love the shapes, and I love the bright, cheerful designs. They are from McCheek's Mayhem, a sweet little shop filled with one-of-a-kind handmade ceramics, including adorable miniature cactus gardens. It's run by Houston-based Carole Smith, whose blog is also lovely.
Bottoms up!
I love those mugs and the shape of them is fantastic. Thanks for letting us know about them. :)
