So, I didn't do a "sweet home of the week" earlier this week, due to technical difficulties. With my brain. But I'm here now, and instead of a "gal friday" post (more difficulties), I'm doing a "sweet home" post...
But this home--oh, it's so, so awesome. It's the home of Ruby and company, of my cakies. "And company" are her two tiny girls and (obviously awesome) husband, Ben. Maybe you saw this sweet home on Cafe Mom, maybe not. Either way, you are in for a huge treat, because it really is one of my all time favorites...
And look at this wonderful idea: Ruby keeps a sketchbook and fresh colored pencils right there on the coffee table, lest even one creative thought slip by unrecorded. A "family sketchbook"--that's genius.
Here is the master bedroom, suitably wonderful and restful:
These unexpected touches of color and whimsy, combined with pure white walls and a playful heart, make Ruby's home one to remember. I love everything about it, from the editing to the creative sparks!
For more about oh-so-talented Ruby and her amazing, spirited family, visit her beautiful blog, or her shop (how cute is this?) or her flickr stream. Thank you Ruby, for allowing us to visit your sweet home. I will be forever grateful, and inspired!
Do stop by Ruby's spots on the web and say hello, won't you?
Cheers, sweet friends!
