Remember the fabulous paper wreaths from the other day? In the comments to that post, sweet reader Hillary A. pointed out that they reminded her of this incredible creation by artist Courtney Cerruti of the Bay area, and I am sooo glad she did...
Check this out!:
Can you believe it!?
Her name is Tildie, and she is just one of two ostriches that clever Courtney made as part of an Anthropologie display for the Bay area store. That's one of her jobs--she makes displays for Anthropologie! I always wondered what kind of cool, cool people do that. (I asked once at my local store, and they said that they have a team at each store for displays. I couldn't believe that there is that much local talent out there that is being sourced by each Anthropologie, but apparently, it's true!)
Courtney has a great blog and a sweet, sweet shop (I love the celebration badges that she makes).
Go see, why doncha?
Cheers!
Amazing!

Wow! Thanks for the love! Tildie was so much fun to make. She now has a little fabric collar and leg warmers keeping her cozy for the holidays at Anthro!
