I may have mentioned that my husband and I celebrated our fifteenth anniversary recently. We don't usually exchange gifts for such occasions, but this one was a nice, round number, so I thought maybe something to commemorate it would not be untoward. Then, I found this poster, and I knew what must be done:
"We Make Sense," by Natasha Mileshina, from her wonderful shop bubbo.
It describes us perfectly. Heaven knows that life doesn't always make sense, and I'd even venture to say that Jared and I don't make a whole lot of sense separately, but together we do. And that's the whole point of this big thing we're doing...creating a family, making a life, raising our girls. And this poster, which now hangs in our bedroom, reminds us of that every day.
Natasha offers the lovely service of personalizing it on the back, which I asked her to do, and she did so nicely:
All in all, I couldn't be more pleased! A simple, cheerful reminder of these days, which are crazy, uncertain, sometimes scary...but always filled with love and laughter, and always just right. Perfect.
Have a great one, my dears!
