Hello, friends! A super-busy weekend is coming up here at Chez Hanson, so I thought I'd stop in briefly to share a few pics.
I love how this little elephant thought to match her outfit to my pillow. I also am charmed by her dignified profile...She's a recent circus escapee that came to us via this shop. With her air of superiority in all things, she fits right in with the smaller set around here.
Two very large creative utensils collected from Pottery Barn over the years. I am thinking of painting the scissors, but I can't settle on a color. Any thoughts?
I am 100% in favor of anything that makes cleaning more fun. ANYthing.
There's trouble in River City. Jared leaves a trail of destruction (of "perfect" displays, that is) in his wake...
The tiniest hummingbird nest I've ever seen, found in our backyard by the little buckaroos (check the footwear). It's from last year, but it is so sweet. Only about 1 1/2 inches across. I love a tiny bit of nature that doesn't gross me out...
I was admiring that elephant yesterday. She's cute.
Love the dustpan, love the dinosaur mayhem.

Oh, I adore the giant paintbrush! And the elephant is seriously cah-yoot.

NOOOO, don't paint the scissors! It's fantastic the way it is. Love the dinosaur mayhem. I use to do that with Lily's action figures (yes, action figures). Nerf guns and action figures are her toys of choice! Did I ever tell you how much I LOVE your play room-I mean, workroom? LOL

That elephant does look superior! In a cute way. I love the giant scissors and brush. I think I would not paint the scissors either but if I did I would go for a realistic look with glossy black handles and pewterish blades but distressed and old with chips and rust. How you would do all that I don't know though!
