I know that I just did a post about an etsy seller and artist that I love...And now I am going to do another.
But...there is a very cute baby involved, so I know that you will not only indulge me on this, but you will also smile and say "awww," and that is such a good feeling that I couldn't resist.
I'm telling you, this is the sweetest little company to come down the pike in a while, folks...Take a peek!:
When Gilliane of wooli had her sweet little girl, she found herself at a loss to find attractive, soft toy boxes. As she is understandably inspired by the beautiful Canadian wilderness in which she lives, she created this adorable Northern Forest Toy box (above) that is easy for little hands to open and close and causes no bumps or bruises.
This is a ski-inspired version, and I love how the boxes can become playthings of their own...It wouldn't have been long at all before my girls had had a Polly Pocket skiing down these slopes!
Some of the designs are simpler, for the more aesthetically modern-minded baby...Everything is made of 100% wool felt, and sewn with love and care. And the little ones can begin helping Mommy ever-so-much sooner when they are not in danger of a head-bump or pinched fingers! (Look, it's every mama's dream!):
Gilliane also makes lovely accessories for the diaper-toting parents among us, and they are just as stylish as the toy boxes:
I just love her designs, with bright accents and that beautiful grey felt. I would have to find another use for these after my baby outgrew them, and the great thing is, that wouldn't be hard to do at all.
Check her etsy shop here. Bonus: cute baby pics throughout.
Cheers!
