Good morning, and Happy March! I am always so relieved when February is over. Living in California, that doesn't really make any sense, since it looks just about like every other month...but I am. I think because it is a short month, I expect it to go by quicker, but after Valentine's Day it just seems to slow down. Kind of like when you have a short week at work, but it ends up feeling interminable...
Anyway, it feels good. I'm always up for a fresh start, and this is as good a one as any. So, today it will be cleaning closets, thinking about a new garden, shopping for some new sneakers for the girls, and maybe even a little bit of creating. Creating things, that is, because all the other things count towards what we all are doing--creating a life.
My new banner captures my feelings perfectly. Up there you'll see my party birds--I made them last year to celebrate the arrival of spring. But what they really do is remind me of something really important--to celebrate it all. There they are, over on the table, quietly celebrating. Celebrating...Every...Day.
